Water drops are more common for wooden windows, but they are also used for PVC windows and doors. For PVC windows, they are intended to protect the surrounding window seal from excess moisture and dust. The profile bar is attached from the outside to the sash's surrounding profile on special clips.

This molding can be installed on any type of window and can be ordered in any color shade of laminations. Water drops are also quite often used for front doors that open to the inside of the room, but in this case the slat performs a protective function against water that can seep into the room from the side of the threshold during heavy rain. Mostly these water drops are requested by our customers for exterior doors where they are not industrially installed and the customer has been suffering for many years with moisture in the door surrounds, as a result of which there is damaged flooring and the lower corners of the columns.

For more demanding customers, we also install these water droplets for new windows, which we make to order. The water drop performs both functional work and also looks good in terms of design and accentuates the window sash.
